Because half the time we don’t have the slightest idea what we’re doing, (Old age), It will be up to you to do your own research to determine what this item is, if it’s complete, or how old it is.Unless I state I know for sure in the description, I might just be guessing as to what I think this item might be. All photos are for your viewing pleasure and to help you determine just what the heck this thing is. Please remain seated until this ride comes to a complete stop. Thank you. The top glass cover looks like it might have had a crack repaired.The bottom slide door has some chips, but still works like it should.The main body of the mailbox is in very good condition. I didn’t see any noticeable cracks or chips.The top lid slides back to expose the mail slot. The bottom door slides up for mail to drop out the bottom.The eagle door knocker is non magnetic and I think it is brass.The barn board is ¾” thick, X 7½”X 19”. A piece of formed wood fits into a notch in the glass to support and hold the bottom of the glass box to the wood, and the door knocker fits into a notch to hold the top.
