This leather physician's bag is in excellent condition, truly a rare find. Almost no damage and wear is minimal. Constructed from top grain cowhide, built to last. Locking / opening mechanism is working, key is included, and envelope for key containing original instructions is also included. For reference to the buyer who purchases this -- the bag is opened by turning the middle knob fully in a clockwise direction while the key is inside (removing the key will lock the bag)."Vintage smell" is present, which is normal for leather goods of this age. The foam lining one of the compartments is stiffened due to natural aging.Seller has personally inspected the item and tested thoroughly to make sure locks / hinges work. Due to the rarity and condition of this item, it is sold as-is.Questions are encouraged, though I think the photos will best show how clean the item is overall. Makes a great collector's item or display piece, and some folks will find utility in it as a high-quality vintage storage case.
