Early 1950's Emerson Model 640 tube type portable battery radio. Color is a neat maroon or dark purple. I would consider case VG condition, very light scratches on bottom. I see no obvious cracks or splits. Pictures show its condition. It is untested because I have no idea where to find a type "B" 67-1/2 Volt square replacement battery. The original batteries have not leaked at all in case you are wondering. Folks take (7) 9V square batteries and re-build these original batteries to modern standards to create 63V which run these fine..or so I read. Looks complete and unmolested. Only issue I see is the tuner arrow seems to hang up on one side or the other as you turn the tuning dial. The tuning bar does move with the knob as it should..just moves slightly forward on one side before the other side moves. Untested since I have no battery. No returns or refunds for any reasons, please buy under this condition or shop elsewhere. Shipping will be based on 4lb. to your location.
