This is so unique. Not everyone can have this kind of granite top table....These I have found are rare to find. The set includes the original chairs, although they have been recovered. The design on the top of the table has a name on it which is Montanari. This is the designer of the top of the table. The grape vine design. I have only seen one other one of these and it was in black. This table is from the 1930's I believe. The top of the table is in very good condition with the usual minor scratches and only very minute amount of enamel missing. As you can tell from the pictures it has two leafs which slide up under the table when not in use. The chairs are made of steel as opposed to chrome of the newer granite top tables. The bottom of the chairs are also metal. These are sturdy enough for an elephant to sit on. The table bottom is made of wood of which I do not know what kind, but I assume probably pine. The table is very sturdy and does not wobble at all.No, the paint is not perfect on the bottom of the table nor the chairs, but I liked it that way. This would be very easily painted if you like. The table measures 24 1/2 inches wide x 40 inches long. If the sides are extended it is 44 1/2 inches x 40 inches. This is a pick up only item. I live about an hour east of Columbus Ohio or about an hour west of Wheeling WV.
