(More information under "International Shipping" Even coming from the 50s, I am not familiar with just what type of enamelware pitcher this is. It's adorable, however the measurements lead me to believe it must have been for milk rather than cream. It's 5" round in diameter and 4" deep. The coloration is just wonderful. The outside is a dark blue speckled graniteware and the inside is a nice gray speckle. A combination I have not seen before. It's nice and heavy, thick and has a good feeling of age to it. I love running my hands over it and thinking of all the decorating ideas I can come up with. I have read that the "undecorating style" is now in style. This simply means anything is okay with anything -- including an unmade bed if it adds to the decorative motif of the room! Now that's a life-style I can decorate with. This little pitcher will work with primitive, country, 40s, 50s, depression, Eames and on and on. It weighs over a pound before packing -- now that has some heft to it -- not like the new stuff that tries to pass for graniteware.
