VINTAGE ENGLISH HUNTLEY & PALMER BOOKS BISCUIT TIN Presented is a fine vintage biscuit tin made by Huntley & Palmer. The tin is done in the form of 7 books with bookends on either side. This design was called Books and was first produced in 1909. The edges of the books pages are done in a colorful marbled design. The spines of the books are hinged on one side to form the lid. The underside of the tin is marked Huntley & Palmers Biscuits, Reading & London. The biscuit tin is in great overall condition. The original colors have faded somewhat, and t is some surface wear, but this is fairly minor. The hinged lid is working well. T are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. The biscuit tin measures 4 inches by 8 3/4 inches and is 3 7/8 inches tall.
