Lovely & Unique VINTAGE Brass Vanity Tray, Pin Dish, Ashtray
English or Irish Setter, or Retriever ESTATE FIND! Just Look at this Gorgeous Old Brass Vanity or Pin Dish with an English or Irish Setter in Stunning, Detailed Base Relief! I believe This Marvelous Hunting Dog is old. He has Assumed a Hunting Stance in a grassy meadow as he moves in on his bird. The years have been Very Good to this boy as the patina of age has only highlighted the details of his posture - head forward, featd tail straight out behind, muscles tensed as the seeks out game - and has improved overall impression. Absolute age unknown. United Brass Works Brooklyn, NY mark on back! MAGNIFICENT & OLD! This Wonderful Old Tray measures 6" across and 4" top to bottom and it carries a little bit of weight - almost one pound! A Little wear, some tarnish, and it needs a good cleaning, but no deep scratches or dings that would detract from its VINTAGE CHARM & SIMPLE ELEGANCE!
