English or Irish Setters, Pointers, or Retrievers Hunting ESTATE FIND! Just Look at this Gorgeous Old Brass Vanity or Pin Dish with English or Irish Setters in Stunning, Detailed Base Relief! These Marvelous Hunting Dogs are old and have Assumed a Hunting Stance in a grassy meadow as they watch the hunt unfold. The years have been Very Good to these two boys as the patina of age has only highlighted the details of their posture - heads erect, featd tails straight out behind them, muscles tensed as they seek out game - and has improved overall impression. The left most dog seems to be so excited for the hunt that he has forgotten the boundary of the tray and is continuing to hunt right off the tray! Absolute age unknown. VM within a circle Mark (Virgina Metal Crafters) and 3-2Setter Marks embossed on the back! MAGNIFICENT! This Wonderful Old Tray measures 5" across and 3 1/4" front to back and it carries a little bit of weight - almost one pound! A Little wear and some tarnish. SIMPLE ELEGANCE and VINTAGE CHARM! A "Must Have" for any Hunting Dog Enthusiast or Vintage Brass Collector!
