Vintage English Oak Art Deco Coal Hod Stand End Table Direct from England , a very nice art deco oak coal scuttle with a front drop, making this piece useful as a nightstand, lamp table or as an accent piece just about anyw in your home!! I have sold a number of these in the past six months, and the majority of the buyers are actually NOT using them for coal, they are using them as tables, nightstands, and accent pieces!!! The stand has obvious art deco style with the silver metal bands, trim, hinges and handle on the front and top. This stand is 20 ¾" H x 11 ¾"(each side) x 13 ¾" (front), PLUS the handles on either side each extend an additional 1 ¼" for a total width of 16 ¼". The metal insert is 11 ¾"H x 11 ¼"(front) x 10" deep, front to back. The stand is in good condition, structurally sound and visually appealing. It has normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections (the veneer on the top has some color variation and some of the bottom corners and edges have nicks from years of use - neither of these detract from the beauty or functionality, but are noted for specific disclosure). The metal box is also in good condition. I only offer carefully selected quality pieces, and always provide multiple photos and written information. All my antique furniture is professionally packaged for shipment by UPS, resulting in very little shipping damage in the past, but sometimes creating slightly higher shipping costs on my antiques versus other sellers.
