Vintage English Oak Mission Table Bookcase Shelf Stand This listing is for a marvelous English oak combination piece - it's a lamp or end table and a bookshelf or stand. I selected this particular table/bookstand because of its large size and Mission styling, with a touch of Jacobean influence in the wood button trim and the dark oak finish. I also found the interesting octagon shape and lines of this piece to be quite nice, and can imagine it in many places throughout a home or office. I have many requests for stands and bookshelves that can accomodate DVD movies and CD's and this one fits the bill, as you can see in some of the photos, DVD's can easily and neatly be stored in this versatile stand!! It is very difficult to adequately describe this piece with words, so please review the pictures to get a true sense of the table's style. The octagon shaped top has a beveled edge and the four corners feature thick wood trimmed columns. The VERY heavy table has X-cross stretcher bars along the bottom, in a double set, providing an extra strong and stable base as well as great eye appeal!! Measurements: 25 26 ¼"H x 23 ¾" x 24"; Footprint is 20 ¼" square; Height between the shelves is 9"; Floor to top of lower shelf is 16". The table/bookcase is oak and oak veneer; it is in good condition, structurally sound and visually appealing with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections.
