Up For Your Consideration For Bid: A Vintage Solid Oak Sewing Box or sometimes referred to as a "work box" which doubles as a Bench or Stool from England. This is a very well made stool with years of good service left in it. It has a few dings and scratches, but none that take anything away from this neat little darling. It's very sturdy and well made and has been around for quite a while. It holds me and I weigh 185 lbs. 's the dimensions: it's prdtty beveled edge top is 20 3/4" X 12 3/4" and is 17 1/2" tall. Open the lid and you have a lined center storage area that's 8 3/4" X 9 1/8" and is 4 1/4" deep, on each side of this compartment you have additional 4 1/4" X 43/8" by 4 3/8" deep starge areas. It has a neat shelf across the bottom that's about 10" X 18 3/4". It's unique construction and the way it's carved & trimmed is timeless and can go with any decor and also go into any room in your home. T's more expensive sewing boxes out t on eBay, but none as cute as this one. It's quite a neat item!! Please Read the Terms for Payment. Payment is expected in 7 days after the auction closed.
