Description: A vintage English sterling silver matched pair of boxing gloves charm. During the 1950s-60s, boxing gloves were very popular choice. I don't know if they were popular because boxing itself was in its heyday, or whether it symbolized strength? Ether way, this is a particularly nice example; the gloves are relatively large, very well-made, and nicely detailed, and glows with a soft vintage patina. A charm for a champion... in any field! Markings: Unmarked but guaranteed sterling.
