Really handsome vintage English sterling silver small-size photo frame. Heart-shaped, as shown and with the classic blue velvet backing. A vintage frame from a local Dallas moving sale and I would date it to about the 1950s - 1970s (vintage, not antique). Well marked with the full English sterling silver hallmarks, including the Lion Facing Left (for Sterling Silver), the Anchor (for Birmingham-made), and the Date Letter (y). Measures about 3.25" tall and 2" wide and it is designed to hold about a 2.5" x 1.8" photo. Excellent condition, as shown, with a fine patina of age no real problems. A couple of tiny pings as shown that are only noticable on close inspection and which do not detract in the slightest. Otherwise, nothing to complain about on careful inspection. No pings, dings, dents, scratches, or problems with the finish. Stands fine with no problems. Retains its original glass. Overall, the pics are very honest and show the condition well and it is a very handsome vintage frame in excellent condition and you won't be disappointed.
