Vintage Engrave Heart Old Locket Charm Pendant 14K Gold

Up for auction is a vintage locket. Unusual slide or swivel-open style heart shaped locket. The inside reveals two (2) frames for photos that are covered with a early plastic of some type with a loose woven green fabric insert beneath. The front surface side of the locket is slightly convex with a flower engraving of a three petal posy setting atop a stem...near the bottom and at ground level a pair of leaves set either side and the framing of this side is a recessed border following the shape of the heart. The backside of the locket also has a slight swell towards its center and is polished and plain with a repeat of thin recessed border at its outermost edge. These two heart halves are joined at the top and to open, they are slid in opposing direction. To close, just slide them back the other way and t is a short bar, see pic 5 at the lower left-hand side, which serves as a 'clasp' keeping the hearts aligned when in the closed position. The only marking that I find anyw on this piece is along the edge of the soldered bail ring, in well worn lettering that appears to be: 585 (a marking for 14K); and the locket does tests for 14K gold on a stone. It is yellow gold in color and has light superficial surface wear consistent with use, age and wear yet no gross damages of any kind. It's not new...I would guess it with with 50, 60 years of age easy yet it's a really sweet piece and is from the same source as the other gold and gold filled pieces in the last photo which are up and running in concurrent auction or will be shortly. This closed heart measures over 1/2" wide (side to side) x 5/8+" long (top to bottom not including the bail ring) x 1/8+" thick (front to back) and weighs 2.1g on a digital scale prior to packing. The bail ring's inner diameter, to accept a chain, is 5mm. Please refer to photos for your take on design, style and condition. In excellent vintage condition as is, uncleaned, with the original fabric and plastic like windows to protect your photos...no problems.
