For auction is a vintage Ensoniq VFX synthesizer. This synth is in good working condition and has some great sounds/patches and minimal cosmetic wear. The full description can be found at the link below but I'm assuming if you are interested in this synth you probably already know a thing or two about it. Some consider it one of the most important synths ever made due to it's high build quality, great sounds, and innovative synthesis method. Cosmetically the keyboard is in good to great shape, with some minor scuffs and such but no major dings or scratches. The keyboard is clean with a few markings as seen in pics. There is a sticker on the keyboard that can easily be "blacked out" with a sharpie, but I figured it would be safer to leave it than try to peel off. From JR Whitesel's site dedicated to the VFX family: When the first Ensoniq SD came out, nearly every synth player who was anyone picked one up. They were used frequently by Tony Banks in 1991 and by Rickwakeman of YES (He used 2 on stage!) Nine Inch Nails also used the VFX. Known issues: When you power up the unit it gives a "low battery warning," which is a reference to the internal battery which is apparently soldered in.
