Vintage Enterprise #2 Coffee Mill Circa 1870's

You are bidding on an Enterprise #2 model double wheel coffee grinder. This mill which measures 10.5 inches X 10.5 inches X 10.5 inches and has a wheel diameter 8.75 inches. The piece has the original metal, grounds drawer, original handle, is in original paint and rests on its orignal wood base. The wheels which have an overlapping circle design has "Enterprise M'F'G. CO. Philadelphia U.S.A." in raised letters plus direction arrows around the outer rim. Yellow lines separate the words and a 6 point star is painted around the hubs and inner sides have yellow lines with dots encircling the inner rims with the numbers 2206 & 2207 designating the parts. The basic color is red & black with all decals still in place and about 94 % intact. Below the swiveling lid cap, the main body has 4 Federal shield designs with black lines connecting each. Under these on the front is a double medallion decal with 4 ornate bracketing decals as well as 4 decals on the back.On the front and back w the body joins the ground tray housing are 2 flowers scrolled decals. Around this in raised letters against a black back ground again is " Enterprise MFG . CO. Philadelphia U.S.A." The grounds tray is missing the #2 decal and the procelain pull has a C shaped crack at its base but the flower decal is still on the back of the base.The wooden base is held on by one screw on each side and one on the back, it measures 6 7/8 X 6 5/8 X 3/4 inches and has a 1/8 inch bevel on the top. Percent of original paint is about 98% intact and t are no cracks or chips in the iron. This is fresh from a local estate in southern CT so DONT MISS THIS ONE!!!!!!! Check out my other items !
