Up for high bid is this Large Elegant EPERGNE, I purchased this Epergne in a little Antique shop in Southern Indiana,I know very little about it ,Its age and maker are a Mystery to me, if you know e-mail me and let me know so I can pass it on to the other bidders. {THANKS} It is marked on the bottom of the metal base with the numbers 5488, on the top of the metal stand are the numbers 601. It is Bolted through the center to hold it tigather. The bowls are held in place with flat decortive brass Finials.The glass is a Smokey Black, with a matte feel on the outside and a smooth feel on the inside very different. T are 4 bowls ,the large center bowl measures 10 inches across center, and about 5 inches tall. The 3 other bowls measure 6 inches across center and about 4 inches tall, all have a rolling, flower petal like rim, "So Unique" !!!! I can't possably describe all the detail on the metal base,PLEASE VIEW THE PHOTOS CLOSLY, and ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO. The entire Epergne stands a Massive 15 inches tall, and 18 inches across from bowl to bowl.,all finishes are in very good condition !!! The glass is In perfect condition,Waiting to be added to your Table as a elegant centerpiece, no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs!!!
