Fantastic Christmas Gift. I remember playing with these Gilbert Erector toys as a child. These are amazing toys that truly challenge a child's imagination and provide a sense of accomplishment when completed and working. Vintage A.C. Gilbert Company No.8 1/2 erector set. Do not know exact year, but definitely 1950s. Could not find date on inside. Case has no dents but slight scratches on back from shelfed. Might be missing or have extra pieces (like instructions).
