is a vintage model truck kit. It is kit no. 8001 issued in the mid 1970`s. The back of the decal sheet says "printed 1-2-72", so that was probably the issue date. This is #2 in the BLUPRINT REPLICA SERIES. This model has the frame and engine partially assembled but not painted. Most of the parts are still on the trees and the loose ones will be bagged up. The wheels are in gray primer and that is all that is painted. I assembled the wheels/tires for the photo. The tires consist of 8-Goodyears and 2-Firestones. These tires are one piece hollow vinyl. The glass is still on the tree and in that dirty bag which is still factory sealed. The body, glass, decals, chrome and instructions are all in EXCELLENT shape. I have checked and checked this kit and would say it is complete. The tires though, are not original to the kit which states it should have 2 piece tires. This model is molded in light blue and black. Also included in this auction is a factory dealer brochure for this EXACT TRUCK with all the specs on it. The instruction sheet is 12 pages long and has photos of the actual truck on it too. The box is another story as it hasn`t faired to well over the years and is in bad shape.
