ART DECO VINTAGE FILIGREE DIAMOND RING 14k GOLD Semi-mount Diamond Ring .30+ diamond G-H color VS1 clarity This is a wonderful estate find that looks to be in perfect condition. I have had it polished and it is ready for a new home. The filigree is amazing and displays wonderful filigree on the front of the ring and beautiful flowers detailed down the shank of the ring - see the pics for the exact details. The semi mount - semi-mount is done in yellow gold The ring is approximately a size 5 1/2 but is certainly sizable by your jeweler. T is NO thinning or damage to the ring at all The diamond is an approximately .30 ct diamond and it could be bigger because of the size of the table of the ring, but to be certain we will go with a .30. The color of the diamond is G-H and the quality is VS1. The jeweler I brought it to to polish said without removing the stone it is very difficult to get an exact size because this stone is set in a filigree diamond enhanced setting so you cannot determine the actual size of the stone. This enhanced or illusion setting makes the diamond appear larger by providing white gold etched detailing around the diamond to give the diamond the illusion of being larger. The head of the diamond and illusion setting is 6 mm. The whole top of the ring is 7 mm in size. The shank of the semi mount starts at 7 mm and tapers down to 3 mm and then 2 mm. I have visited several large Boston estate sales in the last few weeks and I will be listing charm bracelets, vintage style diamond rings, several engagement rings, and solid gold bracelets and watches - so check back. It will take me some time to inventory everything and have it certified by my jeweler but once that is done they will be listed. Thanks and be sure to bookmark me and check back!
