Vintage Estes Astron Streak K-4 OOP Model Rocket KitMy Grandfather passed away recently, so I (his Grandson), will be using his old account to sell a number of rockets from his very large collection in order to make things easier on my Grandmother. Although I am fairly new to model rocketry, I will try my best to accurately describe each rocket and point out any flaws I find in the kits. Up for bid is a vintage, unopened, Estes Astron Streak rocket kit that is in excellent condition considering its age. The Streak was in production between 1962 and 1987, and this is a VERY early release of this kit from around the mid 60’s – before hangtags, skill levels, and all of that good stuff came to be. As mentioned above, the condition of the kit is nothing less than excellent inside and out. The kit bag doesn’t have any holes or tears and has maintained nearly all of its clarity. All of the parts inside the kit bag are in great condition as well – the thin Mylar tube is fully round, balsa strips are intact and not warped.
