SINCE 2003-7 Day NO HASSLE RETURN-FREE FREIGHT-QUESTIONS EMAIL or CALL Giovan Paolo Maggini -- see photo library at end of the description Full size 4/4 Violin replica European made based on a variation of the original Giovan Paolo Maggini Violin produced in the 1600's. Many of these Violins show up for sale, some mistakenly thought to be original (which would be VARY rare). The reality is that in the early 1900's in europe (not sure what company, many were made in Germany, some Chechoslovokia). This Violin was originally brought to the Antique Road Show, and the owner discovered that their "rare antique" was still a well made Violin-- just not quite so rare. This is a full size 4/4 Violin, measuring 23 inches in total Length. Body is 14 1/4" in length, a little smaller then the original Maggini. You will probably see different sizes on the market. The body length does include the body only, and not the notch at the end. Measurements plus or minus 1/8th inch. We received this Violin in a nice quality Lewis Case. The Case is in very good condition. The Bow has a slight "bow", a slight bend from the strands that is not in perfect alignment. Since we deal with many different vintage items, and unfortunately, we are not experts in all area's, I will try to supplement this description with items of notes and LOTS of pictures. Please
