This is an Art Deco hand mirror that was made during the Art Deco periord of the 1920s or 1930s. It is probably made mostly of brass and perhaps some copper. It also looks like it might have been gilded in gold at one time though most of it has worn off. Just below the mirror in small print it says EVANS. It measures about 13 1/2" long and 4 1/2" wide at the widest. It is in very good condition with some spots on the back which may just be w the gilding has worn through. Thanks for looking , g-sale-junki e BIDDING TIPSWatch List: I've noticed over the years that more and more bidders are putting items on their WATCH List and then they wait until the very end to bid. T are advantages and disadvantages to this approach. The advantage is that you are not driving up the price by bidding with your competition. The disadvantage is that bidders often forget to keep track of their watched items and find out too late that the item sold for less than you would have been willing to pay, or it didn't sell at all and you could have had it for the minimum bid. The solution to this dilemma is to bid just the mimimum bid early on. This doesn't prevent you from also bidding at the end, and it doesn't drive up the price because it is just the minimum. Also, if you tend to lose track of what is on your WATCH LIST , then you wouldn't have to worry about losing an item that receives no other bids because you would already have bid. Even the most careful bidder can have an unforseen interruption that prevents him/her from bidding and lose the item altogether. Decide on your maximum : If you must bid at the very end, bid that maximum right off. If you really bid your maximum, you won't need to feel bad if the item was outbid. Someone else may seem to have outbid you by so little, but you don't know how high the other bidder was willing to go.
