I am sorry but I do not remember exactly what year this Pen is from. Perhaps the 1980's-90's. I DO know that I bought all kinds of these and FISHER SPACE PENS as gifts for EVERYONE on my gift list for many years!!!I thought they were SPECTACULAR!!! They write UP-SIDE DOWN!!!; on GLOSSY PAPER; and UNDER WATER !!!! I have not tried this one under water!!!! But I have tried mine and it WORKS!!! It has been kept in its original Box with an included paper that tells how you can order refills and a bit about the Pen; and I am also including an extra refill. Both STILL WRITE!!!!! Mine got pilfered a long time ago; and I decided I would keep this one as a Collectible. But now I am downsizing and want to pass it on.The Pen is 5 inches long and in beautiful shiny CHROME!!!!A great gift for someone who possibly NEVER heard of its features; BUT an even greater present for YOURSELF!!!! ****Will ship outside U.S.A; please contact me for shipping fees before bidding.
