Hello, I am offering my Exercycle Executive automatic work-out exercise bike (Exerciser Model #9827). This handsome cast iron-framed exercise bike is powered by a 1.5 HP Westinghouse motor and operates in two speeds, hi and lo. This unit has been produced since the 1930's with relatively little change to its design by the Exercycle Company of Hartford, Connecticut. This machine is in great condition both operationally and cosmetically. It features the more dressed up trim package with grey-metallic finish with white pin-striping and extra large chrome tractor seat! I am offering this unit to you complete with the optional PEP-personal exercise planner (Model# 910-also manufactured by The Exercycle Company of Hartford, CT) and the Pocket Pulse Minder (Model# 7719-manufactured by Computer Instruments Corporation of Hempstead, NY), a fantastic and hard-to-find upgrade package. Judging by the technology used on the PEP, I would estimate this unit to be from the 1970's or early 1980's. The bike itself has been tested extensively and ridden in both hi and lo speeds. The pedals are intact and the only damage, aside from minor dings in its paint here and there, is to the front aluminum plackard near the tensioner settings (see picture). It looks as though this had been crunched in storage, and later straightened out. All features of the Exercycle work perfectly and the crankcase oil has been changed recently. The PEP has not been tested and the clockset light assembly is missing on the left side of the panel. Both the pulse minder and PEP look to be complete. The long frontal superstructure arm mount for the PEP is silver-gray with white pin-striping, and matches the rest of the bike perfectly. There is a service sticker on the side of the motor for Accurate Knowledge (repair and fitness specialists) . This item is very heavy and is available for PICK UP ONLY, but I will consider delivering it for gas $$$ within a certain radius. Please email me for delivery questions.
