VINTAGE FASHION MATE 257 SINGER SEWING MACHINE W/ CASE Up for bid is a vintage Singer fashion mate Sewing Machine. I purchased this at a local estate sale so don't know much about it. I plugged it in and the light works and then pressed foot pedal, or sewing motor control down, the needle or bobbin or what ever its called started moving up and down. I have no idea how to thread this and check it to see if it actually sews, but appears to work, so what I have told you is what I know, with that in mind this item is sold as is, item is dusty from storage, other than that a very nice vintage piece, And by the way, this thing is heavy, weighs around 35 pounds.
