Those beads in from are from 10 to 18mm and look extravagent. This is a lighter shade of royal purple and this really makes the beads stand out beautifully. This retro vintage look in necklaces is really in right now. Purple is one of the color favorites for spring and summer. I am hearing fashion peole say to wear it with hot pink. I have always loved purple with hot pink. This necklace is signed Japan. It is great quality and in excellent condtion. The length on this is 15 3/4" long with a J clasp. This will work with an extention chain. Clasp the lobster claw clasp on to the little chain between pearls and slip the J clasp on to the end ring on the extention chain.
