~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ This buy it now today is for this wonderful antique/ vintage European homespun, hand-woven linen/hemp sack~*~* Wonderful VERY dark Indigo blue stripe, that is a near black tone. The tone of the hand woven hemp is lovely and warm~ this sack is a BEAUTIFUL quality textile~ t is some storage marking on the very side ( Please see photograph) that may not fully wash~ but should! T is also some very pale blue bleeding from the stripe, only a very pale litle bit! ~*~ ~*~* *~ Lovely plain weave, heavy weight textile~*~*~ ~*~* I love knowing my sacks were created without the use of pesticides, just lovely natural fabric indeed~*~* Simply machine wash, tumble dry! ~*~* *~* ( SACK DR)
These wonderful sacks make perfect upholstery fabric, bench cushion, outdoor furniture covers, bolster pillow for beds ( simply insert pillow) , floor rug, sofa pillows, floor pillow, dog bed, ( simply fill with feather comforter or body pillow insert and add velcro or zip to the end!) laundry bag, table runner, bath mat ( hemp is naturally mold and mildew resistant) , Beach bag, roman shade, hand towels, dog beds, you name it! They are also perfect for upholstery projects as the fabric is wonderful and very very durable! ~ This lovely sack measures approx. 3.6 feet by 22 inches ( of course it is twice the lenght as it has both sides~*~) For more information about the yardage that these sacks would have been made from , please see my store page " About Hand-woven Homespun Yardage" It is one long piece of linen hand stitched together at each side with a wonderful heavy hemp thread, a lovely feature~ This sack has some light storage dirt that will wash beautifully~*~* ~*~ Please see my " About Me" page to learn more about what I do! ~*~~*~These textiles are, by nature, extremely Eco-friendly! IThe average age of these textiles is 100 years and they were naturally home grown before the use of pesticides. These textiles are home retted ( in local lakes and ponds) and woven by hand.
