Vintage Fender F-5-12 12-String Acoustic Guitar with hard shell case. Presented for your consideration is a Vintage Fender (F-5-12) 12-String Acoustic Guitar. This guitar was made back in the late 70s and is in terrific shape for its age. The serial number is Y12285 with a small "F" preceeding the serial number. I am not sure but I think it was made in Japan. It has been upgraded with Grover tuners at some point in its long life. The finish is really nice with only a few minor flaws detailed below. The top is solid spruce and the back and sides are babinga wood I believe but it could be mahagony. The neck is mahagony and the fretboard and bridge are rosewood. Structurally this guitar is in perfect shape. There is no seperation at the neck joint, bridge and all the bindings are in great shape. It has great action and the sound is terrific. The neck does not have a ding on it and feels really nice. The truss rod works. Defects: There is a small ding on the underside that is about size of a pencil eraser where the finish has come off. There are a few chips on the back of the head from the tuners being replaced. There is a chip on the nut between the 3rd and 4th string grooves but does not affect the guitar. There are normal minor dings, dents and finish imperfections from years of careful unabusive use. The case is old but in great read more
