This is a Vintage Fender Twin, Blackfaced by Professional Amplifier Technician Kevin Dohse who designs amps for National. I believe it dates to 1972 although Ill check into serial # soon to confirm. This amp won't be for the musician looking for a cheap twin. This is a serious touring/recording amp. It has been fully blackfaced in the way it should be...very meticulously, including complete rebuild of Bias Supply (now it is true bias), Master volume taken out of circuit, and taking everything back to schematics of a 1965 Blackface Fender twin. It has just been serviced 2 days ago complete with a brand new set of matching Sovtek power tubes, new filter caps, and properly installed 3 prong chord. Speakers are one original Jensen and one Celestion 70 which sound very good together!It is ready to tour , record and perform for a musician for years to come. We are a touring band Black Cat, to check us out. This amp has been well loved and cared for for many years. It has always been maintained and stored in a non smoking environment. It has never gone out with us on the road which is why it is so clean still. In and out, no rust on the transformers, very clean chassis wiring and all.
