You are bidding on a Vintage Fenton Cobalt Carnival Holly & Berries Bowl. This gorgeous piece of carnival dates back to 1911 and is made of Cobalt Blue glass and has had the Carnival spray applied. The mould pattern on this piece is called Holly & Berries. T is no pattern on the backside of the bowl. The crimped edge I believe was called a ribbon candy crimp and is similar to the ribbon candy found at Christmas. This is an 8-1/4 wide bowl. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, scratches. The backside has a seam line on it but I researched other items on eBay before I listed and all of the earlier pieces like this had the same seam line. Fenton has come a long way since the early years. My reference for this piece is from the book titled, "Fenton Art Glass, 1907-1939" by Margaret and Ken Whitmyer. The Holly & Berries pattern is featured on page 64 & 65. I will combine shipping on multiple auction wins as long as items are not too heavy or large to safely ship. Please email with questions and I will try to answer to the best of my ability. I try very hard to research the items I list & describe them the best I can. I am not a dealer, I am just an individual who is selling part of a Fenton collection and some other unwanted items. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!
