Vintage Fenton Hand Painted Lamp Large Signed -Satin You are bidding on a beautiful Fenton hand painted lamp in excellent condition. This lamp is Hand Signed by the Artist and is Soft Satin White and Mauve and is flared, crimped and decorated. The top globe is a soft satin white that opens into a ruffled top and gradually goes from a soft white to a medium mauve. It is accented with mauve flowers and strokes of green paint make up the leaves. Highlighting each flower petal, is Fenton's exclusive use of heavy frit (powdered glass on top of the paint) to give each petal its own sparkle. Matching the top globe is the bottom globe that has the same treatment. The Fenton artist that painted this masterpiece is D. Cutshaw and has signed it along the inside edge of the top globe -- see photo. This is an extremely heavy lamp that will require extra padding and extra care to ship. This lamp represents the best in Fenton design, craftsmanship and quality that they have become famous for over the past 100 years. The metalwork is also in excellent condition. T are no blemishes, no dull areas and no tarnishing. Its on/off switch is Fenton's trademark brass key. The large metal base is completely free of any dust or scratches and has a bright shiny finish.
