VINTAGE FENTON POPPY GONE WITH THE WIND GWTW LAMP Please note this is a 5 day auction.....This is a vintage Fenton milk glass gone with the wind lamp in the poppy pattern. It is 22" high from the bottom of the lamp base to the highest point on the top shade. The square base is 7" across at the bottom of it. It has the three way key switch which lights up the top globe or the bottom globe or both together. It does work. T are 2 minor nicks in the finished outer rim of the top shade. They are next to a seam so they could have occured when it was taken from the mold. Each is 1/16" high and wide. ( see photo ) You have to look for them to see them when holding the shade. I have not taken the lamp apart to examine the bottom globe but have no reason to believe it has any damage. T are no cracks in either piece. T are no nicks or chips in any of the floral design. You may want to shine the brass and metal parts that are showing a little age but I have not removed any of the patina, just the dust. The cord is an off white or cream color and is flexable with no cracks or signs of needing replaced. It is 81" long. The great thing about a milk glass lamp is you can use colored light bulbs for different moods or holidays.
