This is a beautiful Light Green Vintage Fiesta Covered CasseroleOnion Soup Bowl in very good condition. Please note in the pictures what appears to be factory imperfections or "glaze slips" at the base of the bowl. * Almost all vintage Fiestaware pieces left the factory with some slight imperfection. The glaze may have been a little heavy or a little light in an area. Sometimes the glaze would miss a small spot and leave a tiny white area known as a “glaze slip”. If the glaze had a small bubble that popped during firing it would look like someone stuck a pin in the glaze, hence the “pin-prick or pinpoint”. Pieces with pepper spots, extra bits of clay or fissures under the glaze are not uncommon. Pieces with any of these slight imperfections are still considered to be in “factory mint condition” because they happen during the manufacturing or firing process.
