Vintage Fiesta Riviera Harlequin Red Butter Dish Offered in this no reserve auction is this vintage ( introduced in 1938) Red butter dish with the lid in the Red made for the Homer Laughlin patterns, Harlequin & Riviera. Fiesta never made a vintage butter, but these were used with the Fiesta pattern. The condition is excellent with no chips, flakes or cracks and has good even color. The butter bottom measures 9 1/8" long. With the lid on it is approx. 3 1/2" high. I wish to point out on the edge of the bottom piece (see.jpg) t are some minute glaze skips (or a scuff mark, you can feel them) and in the inside of the bottom pc (see jpg) t is a glaze skip, you can feel it. The three kiln marks are apparent on the bottom. T is no sign of use on this piece, no scratches,stains, or utensil marks. I believe any flaws are in the making, as inside corner of lid (see jpg)
