Vintage Fiesta Ware Water Pitcher History: This pitcher was originally owned by a Jewish Temple located in Arkansas. Sometime in the late 70s the temple relocated, abandoning the pitcher. It was aquired by the current owner, and has been in their care ever since. Identifying features : 1) Turquoise "Light Green" in color 2) 7" tall 3) The absence of a raised letter "H" on its base 4) Smooth inside w upper handle arm connects to the brim 5) Trademark "Fiesta" logo on its base Additional Information: The fact that its upper handle joint has no demple inside signifies that it was hand-made sometime between 1937 and 1969. The handle of a newer version of this pitcher is made by a machine that leaves a slight indentation were the handle joins the brim of the pitcher. According to the Fiesta Ware Homepage this is probably the most accurate way to identify the old from the new and the hand-made from the machine made.
