Rare Vintage Figural Noritake bird box? This vintage figural Noritake bird measures approximately 5.5 inches wide and 5.0 inches tall. It is beautifully handpainted. It is in very good condition, t are no chips or cracks or damages of any kind that I can see. T is some wear to the painted edge on the inside of the opening on the base piece. The backstamp is the red M surrounded by a wreath, Noritake, Made in Japan, Handpainted, which dates it to 1918 according to David Spain. I can not find anything like it in the books I have, I think it is a very rare piece.I am happy to ship internationally, including to Japan , please inquire for rates.
