This is a handsome set of knives made in Finland On the blade of the larger knife are the words "Made in Finland". Above these words are what we think is the name of the Maker. We cannot make out those words. The blades of both knives are attached to brass which in turn is attached to a birch wood handle above which are brass horseheads.The brass holder of the larger knife is beautifully decorated. The blades of each knife are steel. T is a slight discoloration on the blade of the larger knife. Otherwide, in MINT condition The leather case is also beautifully decorated. The overall piece with sheath is app. 9 inches long. The sheath is 6 3/4 inches long. The smaller knife is 3 1/2 inches long. The larger, 7 1/2 inches long. The handles are made of birchwood. Don't miss this unique item !!
