is a great set of vintage Fire-King Nesting Mixing Bowls in the Tulip pattern. It has all 5 bowls and has the harder to find Ivory background. Each side has three brightly colored tulips in blue pots. They were created by Anchor Hocking mostly between the mid 1950s to early 1960s. On the bottom of each bowl is "Oven Fire-King Ware". The bowl sizes are: Largest: 9 1/2" in diameter by 6 1/2" tall 2nd: 8 1/2" in diameter by 5 3/4" tall 3rd: 7 1/2" in diameter by 5 1/8" tall 4th: 6 1/2" in diameter by 4 3/8" tall 5th: 5 1/2" in diameter by 4 3/8" tall Just as an FYI, when all 5 are nested together, since the 4th and 5th are the same height, the 5th one actually stands about 1/4" taller than the 4th one because of the base. All are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. The tulip decals are in very good condition on the 3 largest bowls with just a few very small flakes. On both the 4th and 5th bowls, one side is excellent and the other side has some flakes especially on the blue flower pots with the 5th, shows the most wear. I took an extra picture so you can see this better. I started these at a reasonable price and did not add in a reserve. I've seen sets of 3 and 4 go well into the $150 - $200 range and have only seen one other set of 5 and that was months ago and sold for over $250., so this may be a great opportunity for someone. I prefer to ship using Priority Mail with tracking which is what is shown as the shipping and handling fees. The postage does reflect the new rate increase as of May 14th, which really jumped up the price on packages that both weigh a lot and / or are oversized. Als o, I do combine shipping whenever possible to help save you money. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. *** International buyers - please be aware of the jump in the international shipping costs by the USPS. Please email me for a shipping quote so you won't get a shock later. *** If you like great collectibles and table top antiques, please visit my Ebay Store - Remember When on Larchmont. Thanks for looking. rwiantiques A very nice eBayer just let me know that the smallest bowl is actually a grease jar without the lid. This is why it's a little taller than the 4th one. I posted the information so you all can see it. Thanks. rwiantiques
