VINTAGE FISHER PRICE LITTLE PEOPLE # 985 PLAY FAMILY HOUSEBOAT Here I am offering this #-1976 Play Family Houseboat 100% complete and authentic for 1976 set. This is a really nice houseboat in very good condition. The only issue I can see with it is the flag has been rather vigorously chewed . This set was made for play in water or on land. The lithos are made of a special water-resistant type vinyl material that holds up pretty well when submerged. Originally the lithos on the grill and table were also water-resistant. Since the lobster litho table was made for this set only, it is of the water resistant material, but after all these years the grills have been inter-mixed with other sets and I don't know if this one is water resistant or not but I think it is. It does show some wear. The houseboat has wheels and can be used as a pull toy. The original pull string is missing but I will attach a replacement plastic pull string if you request it. It makes a The blue flap that serves as a sun deck doubles as a carry handle. There is also a diving board that slides in or out, and a flag on a spring pole. This pole looks great, no rust or bends. All the lithos on this boat are in great condition - no bubbles, wrinkles, or stains. The life boat stores on the back of the houseboat on the red hitch.
