You are bidding on one (1) Vintage Fixed Blade "G.Wostenholm" Bowie Knife, Sheffield, England. Marked on the bottom on the blade is: "I*XL." On the blade itself it is stamped "G. Wostenholm Sheffield England." It is weak but you can see it.Knife is 10 1/4" long. The blade is 5 3/4" long. It has Stag Bone handles, with three brass pins. The blade has been sharpened. The guard is brass. On the very end of the handles t is some minor holes. T is a white piece in the larger hole. (Looks like bone.) Not sure what this means but I wanted to bring it to your attention.What a great fine and wonderful gift for Christmas. I have not set a reserve on this piece as I firmly believe it will bring a fair price because it is a great piece. I am not a knife collector. However, I am responsible for disposing of a large estate from a long time collector. I will be placing several items on Ebay over the next few months due to the size of the collection. The collection includes vintage military knifes, pocket knifes, figural knives, and much more.
