Up for auction is a lovely, rare, vintage Florida tablecloth in new condition with the original label on (just torn a touch - see photo). Look at all the vibrant colors
and cool scenes from the 50's. The tablecloth is bordered with a vivid shade of red with shades of green, yellow, grays and blacks on the rest of the tablecloth.
Many areas of Florida are represented on the side scenes: Palm Beach, St. Petersburg, Circus Headquarters Sarasota, Ft. Lauderdale Deep Sea Fishing,
Miami, Miami Beach, Daytona, Ocean Beach Speedway, Flamingos at Hialear Race Track etc. The map in the center covers all the main areas of Florida.
The tablecloth label says:
Sherry Mfg. Co. Inc., Finished Size 48 x 48, Size 50 x 50 B.H.
Style # 2502, 59% Cotton, 41% Rayon, R.N. 16490, Made in Japan, Washable Colors Guaranteed
Imperfections: 2 small spots on outside white border - see photo One other spot 1/2" finger long by the Biscayne Bay words - see on photo.
This unique tablecloth was discovered at an exclusive estate sale in Long Island, New York. Really cool, interesting tablecloth.
