LISTING IS FOR 3 DAYS ONLY--NO LONG WAIT---BID EARLY, WIN EARLY--RECEIVE EARLY--ENJOY EARLY--QUICK, EASY, AND PAINLESS PROCESS. I present to you another cute vintage find from a local antique store. A perfectly lovely little place with so many wonderful things and lots of places, upstairs and down, to browse through. I found this darling little wooden footstool in an upstairs room--it had been painted black and decoupaged with strawberries-- GINGER & HUBBY TO THE RESCUE!! Hubby's mission was to sand off the old paint and clean it up so that I could apply a new painting--a cute fat and sassy raccoon sits on a stump checking out a perky little Carolina Wren who sits nearby on a branch and is checking him out right back!! Both of the bottom sides have been decorated with swirls of leaves and a small bunch of cheerful daisies in the center. Hard to tell the actual age of this little treasure-- but it's a sturdy little stool, possibly handmade and probably made from pine. I left the background natural. The size of the little stool top is 13" x 5 1/2" and it stands about 7" high. The painting is acrylics and a coat of high gloss polyurethane will be applied to protect from dirt and scratches. (Ohhhh dear--I do hope you won't actually put your feet on it... ;o( ) Wouldn't they just make a wonderful addition to your raccoon or Carolina wren collection and brighten up your home with a unique piece of art? How can you resist those darling little faces??? It is signed & dated by me, the artist, (G.Jamerson). It would make a great gift for someone who is hard to buy for--maybe that special friend, teacher or co-worker--maybe yourself . It's guaranteed to bring smiles to all who view it. PLEASE BID EARLY SO THAT YOU DON'T MISS OUT!! Please let me know if you have any questions about my art. I have been painting for many, many years, mostly in acrylics and oils. I paint because it is a need within me and I gather together particles of paint for your enjoyment. Thankfully, so many of you throughout the world have purchased and enjoyed my artistic endeavors. I do my best to leave feedback very shortly after payment is received. If you are happy with your item, please don't forget to leave feedback for me to let others know and see. After all, that is half the fun of Ebay isn't it? I am happy to accept checks or money orders and only ask that you contact no later than 24 hours after winning the bid to let me know your preferred method of payment. With rising gas prices I'm unable to mail as quickly as I used to--I now make post office runs on Monday and Fridays. Once I mail your treasures, I will email you with the tracking number. Sometimes I may have listings that end within a day of each other and will wait so that I may make one trip to the post office. Thanks for your understanding. HAPPY DAYS AND HAPPY BIDDING!!
