ESTATE FIND! VINTAGE SHAVING MUG WITH BRUSH HOLDER(2 PIECES) Absolutely charming shaving mug made by "FORBES SILVER CO. QUADRUPLET #434" It is engraved on bottomside with underlined information. The front of it has amazing detailed engraving of some sort of emblem and colonial home! The pictures depict a color of gold, but in actuality, the item is a tarnished silver. The silver shows more on the inside of the cup. I have not attempted to clean it because I believe that its age is well demonstrated by the colors and marks. I absolutely LOVE IT! The handle is also very beautiful with beautiful details that just make it more charming. The brush holder has a nicely adorned holder for the brush. It does not come with brush. On bottomside of cup, t seems to be a small area w perhaps the shaving cream was warmed by fire. This piece does show its age, but that is what makes it so wonderfully charming! Thanks for looking!
