Retired Ford Dealer offering vintage sign as pictured. It is 27H x 59W and made of porcelain on steel (similar to old appliance material) and weighs 26 lbs. It is very attractive, the color and finish are in excellent shape. I don't believe the pics do it justice. I have been careful in picturing the flaws, but as the main picture reveals they are minimal. One pic shows the white reverse side, another shows a stamp reading "DICK CONSUMER BLDG. CHICAGO AND BEAVER FALLS, PA". The sign was a gift to me about 15 years ago, and I believe it was purchased for about $1000 then. I displayed it in the dealership showroom and I don't believe it was ever used outdoors. The premium value supposedly comes from the phrase " AUTHORIZED SERVICE STATION " which was only used one year--1918. I welcome further info from informed buyers, and ask that you satisfy yourself as to the information I have included if you bid. Thanks for looking.
