The mechanism slides smoothly. The F50 keys are in short supply and not easy to find. The machine is an original penny machine, but over time it has been converted to accept only dimes . If the buyer chooses, he or she may reverse the conversion so that the machine once again accepts pennies. Due to the age of the machine, t is minor pitting but does not detract from its beauty. The rubber feet keep the machine from scratching furniture or shelves. On the back of the glass globe, t is a small crack near the decal plate. I photographed the crack for your observation. Since it is superficial, it will not cause a problem keeping the gum fresh for your enjoyment. Instructions are included that explain the operation of the lock and filling the machine with gum. This machine dispenses small items such as: chiclets, M & M's, peanuts, Skittles, etc. A sample of chiclets is included so that you can enjoy your machine right away.
