is a beautiful old crystal Fostoria "American" round pedestal cake plate that has the brandy well in the center and measures 10" in diameter and stands 7" high. I can feel two small chips on the points and have tried to photograph one.

The glass is very clear and I can find no utensil marks at all. It features the 3 mold lines and is a continues piece -- the top is not glued. Old and brilliant, t is no cloudiness at all. A dramatic statement of elegance.

Very heavy and postage is based on 6+ lbs packed.

HISTORY:

Ten or 15 years ago, when I visited my parents in Oregon , Mom set the entire table with Fostoria plates, glasses and serving pieces. She filled a huge assortment of bowls with a variety of salads and, with her homemade dinner rolls, served butter and a choice of jams, then ended with servings of cake and bowls of ice cream. Truly elegant! Then she told me she had purchased the set from an elderly resident of their retirement community who was moving from her home and downsizing and that the entire set was my birthday present!

Over the years Iâe(tm)ve added a few missing plates and glasses and now have over 100 items. Unfortunately, Iâe(tm)m no longer able use them (see information about me), so am offering them on eBay. Iâe(tm)ll also be selling a huge set of Limoges âeoeAutumn Leavesâe, a collection that started when I found, fell in love with, and bought 12 pieces Mom was offering in her antique shop in Sweet Home, Oregon about 20 years ago.
