VintageFountain Pen and Pencil set by Eversharp. Wonderful art deco styling,manufactured in the early 1930’s, 12 sided octagonal designs with gold colouredbands and clip. The fountainpen has a unique to the brand, adjustable nib ranging in graduations from softto stiff , marked Eversharp made in the USA , with 9 adjustable settings . The body is clean, crack free, chip freewith minor wear marks, the lid is marked Eversharp made in Canada, with aslightly loose clip, and I understand this is not a major issue to rectify. Thefilling lever moves freely and smoothly however I have not attempted to fill itor test it. Themechanical propelling pencil is fully working, with a wonderful art deco appearancedeep colours and a very smooth action, stamped with Eversharp made in Canada. The set isundamaged ,has not been messed about with or restored in any way , it’s in wonderful condition given it age , howeverif you want long service and practical use , it may be worth mailing to the penshop in London for a full test , polish and service , as a gift it’s a wonderfulpiece of history , and beautiful to look at in its own right , recent resortedexamples are changing hands for £550 + currently .so it may turn into aninvestment for the long term .
