A Vintage Framed oil painting on board of a Horses Head signed E.Rushton (first initial obscured by frame) and Dated 1958. The painting has been glazed/varnished giving it a glossy shiny appearance and making the paint feel smoother. Including frame it measures appro x. 14 x 11 3/4 inches and is ready to hang and disp lay . Being around 56 years old the painting has age related wear throughout to the surface including chipped and missing paint in places especially towards the top left corner and in the sky area and in places on the horse (please see photos) there are also surface scratches in places throughout mainly to the horse (please see photos). The old frame also has plenty of age related wear and marks throughout including chips, scratches, scuffs, marks and wear in places throughout the frame including to the front surround and outer edges and corners etc (please see photos) and surface cracking/missing surface at the top edge (please see photos) aswell as strips of missing applied edge to the frame at the right side(please see photos) and corner chips where the applied surface has chipped off and is missing particularly to the left corners with the bottom left been the worst with also missing/chipped off edge surface (please see photos) there are also a couple of places where the inner applied decoration has chipped off
