Vintage Framed Japanese Tinted Albumen Photo Homes Village RuralDescription~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~vintage photograph~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~appears to be albumen print.framed, under glass, with period frame.frame measures about 12.25 by 10.25some toning to photo. heavy toning seen in sky areamidway along lower section is a brown area under glass. surrounded by a paler blue green than the rest of the field.some residue perhaps under glass.a few scratches, marks to the glass.original framing... small area missing from applied wood decoration to frame.scuffs, wear to frame and to back.I'm not sure but there could be information in lower left corner... faint as that might be... please see last photo.several homes or other structures. garden to the right.one young man carrying a load of sticks on his back. woman to right near garden.woman midcenter back on path.and perhaps at least one other person... in shadows of left structure.quite sure this is Japanese. Perhaps antique. Not sure.Please look at all the photos...
